SEECP Dubrovnik Summit Declaration

Dubrovnik, 30 June 2017 - the Croatian president Kolinda Grabar Kitarović opened the 12th edition of Dubrovnik Forum 2017 international conference, organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.

Dubrovnik Forum was attended by the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) member states and by high officials in the region and the EU. SEECP Dubrovnik Summit Declaration was adopted during the Forum, where the importance of regional cooperation in South-East Europe for further development of stability and prosperity in the region was reiterated.

The Declaration welcomes the adoption in January 2017 of the Zagreb Charter on Lifelong Entrepreneurial Learning: A Keystone for Competitiveness, Smart and Inclusive Growth and Jobs in the SEECP Participants and necessity to design and implement concrete policies, structures and capacities aimed at development of an entrepreneurial society, entrepreneurial behaviour and competitiveness. In that regard, the South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (SEECEL) can serve as a central platform for the implementation of the Charter’s action areas.
 
The Dubrovnik meeting marks the end of Croatia’s SEECP presidency.
